Mountain Tara is located in west Serbia and is one of the rare oasis of pure nature. The territory of Tara is declared a national park in 1981 for preserving rare plant and animals species. This territory is situated on 19.200 hectare while 13.000 hectares are covered with forests the whole area of the national park includes: mountain Tara, Crni vrh, Zvezda, Stolac, Drina canyon with lake Perućac and outskirts of Bajina Bašta .
